Bucks mission brief

For the crew that wants a proper contest running before a single beer's poured. It opens in a private bay at the simulator lounge: two hours on eighty-four world-class courses, no bunkers to trudge through, no fairway etiquette to pretend to care about, the licensed bar keeping pace while the Buck gets sledged for a shanked drive. From there it's the bierhall, reserved seats, brezels on the table and a stein that finds only him. Then straight into a proper steak dinner, reserved and waiting, sport lighting up the screens overhead, and another round that's his alone. The night closes in a cordoned VIP booth, a bucket of four already in front of him. Walk straight in everywhere. Nobody's chasing four separate bookings hoping they land on the same afternoon... it already has.

This one's for the crew that wants a real contest running before a single beer's gone warm — four stops, one day, built for blokes who'd rather sledge each other over a scorecard than stand around waiting for the night to start.

Nobody's on the phone chasing a simulator bay, then a bierhall table, then a steakhouse booking, then a booth, hoping four separate bookings somehow land on the same afternoon. It's already sorted before the first ball's hit.

It opens in a private bay at the simulator lounge, just the crew, two hours with eighty-four world-class courses loaded up and ready to go. No bunkers to trudge through, no fairway etiquette to pretend to care about. A host gets everyone set up and squared away, then it's free rein: golf if you're serious about it, whatever else is loaded up if you're not. The licensed bar keeps pace, and by the back nine somebody's already down big and hearing about it.

Once the champion's been crowned and the also-rans have finished arguing the result, the group rolls into the bierhall. Reserved seats waiting, a round on arrival, brezels landing on the table before anyone's asked. The Buck gets handed a stein bigger than everyone else's, and somebody's already got their phone out filming him try to finish it.

From there it's straight into the steak. A reserved table, sport lighting up the screens above the bar, and a plate built to line the stomach properly: steak cooked exactly how he takes it, fries, salad, gravy on the side. The Buck cops a bonus pint on top of everyone else's round, because it's his night and the table's not about to let him forget it.

The night finishes in a cordoned VIP booth in a laneway speakeasy, the room low-lit and loud in the right way. A bucket of four lands for the Buck to kick things off, and if the boys want to keep shouting him rounds from there, the bar's ready for it. This is where The Bucks Pro Tour earns its name: he's played, he's eaten like a king, and now he's the bloke with his own booth and his own beers while the group closes out the night around him.

You're not the one standing at a bar working out where everyone's supposed to be next. You booked four stops that run like one night, and by the time the group's still telling stories about his short game, they're telling you how well you pulled it off.

One Bucks Pro Tour runs per date, and it's not every day that opens with a bloke getting roasted for his short game and ends with him shouted his own VIP booth for it. Check your date before this one's already run.
