We kick off this bucks party by handing you what every lad’s been dreaming of since the ’90s when Doom came out—a fully loaded 12-gauge shotgun! After a quick safety briefing for that one mate to make sure he doesn’t give himself a new haircut or neuter the nearest lad, it’s time to look at the sky and get blasting. Send more buckshot into the sky than there are working days in a year and show our clay pigeons who’s boss. With every yell of ‘pull,’ we expect to see a cloud of very dead clay immediately after. With 25 targets per lad, we reckon you’ll get pretty good at it. Whether you’re keeping score or just enjoying the feeling of your inner child rejoicing at actually holding a boomstick, we know you’ll have heaps of fun with the lads—and maybe even assign some new nicknames in the group chat.
We know you’ll work up a thirst as you’re blasting at the sky, so with the smell of gunpowder and the weight of many clay pigeon widows on you, gather the lads and head over to our incredible Sydney pub. We’ll have an ice-cold jug of the gods’ nectar waiting for you at your reserved seating, with a fully stocked bar close at hand. Make yourselves at home and get the conversation flowing as hard as the beers. Whether the man of the hour chugs a jug himself or shares it with his fellow shooters is up to him!
After you’ve quenched your thirst, it’s time to deal with the empty stomachs, which are somehow louder than the gunshots still ringing in your ears. Our classic Irish pub is ready to welcome you with open arms—and a schooner, of course! If you’re feeling something stronger, feel free to order your favourite spirit and we’ll sort that out for you. Then it’s time for the hardest decision you’ve made all day—what you’re going to eat. With a menu stacked with parmas (or parmi for the heathen among you), burgers bigger than your head, or a pizza the lads could use as a blanket when you forget to give them one later tonight, it’ll be an agonising choice, but you’ll be satisfied either way. As you dig in, we’ll make sure the buck gets an extra beer or spirit—it’s his party, after all!
